There is still -no unanimous answer to the question who invented the first bulldozer. Many historians tend to attribute this reputation of having invented the bulldozer to an American named Benjamin Holt, and originally calling it a “caterpillar” or a crawler tractor. However, this would be misleading.

Whenever we pass by a construction site, we would see many bulldozers working, to and fro. Bulldozers are so versatile that they are playing a more and more important role in construction. It is of no exaggeration to say that where there is construction project, there is a bulldozer. So here I want to share some details about them with you dear readers. 
A bulldozer is a crawler (caterpillar tracked tractor), equipped with a substantial metal plate (known as a blade), used to push large quantities of soil, sand, rubble, etc., during construction work.

These bulldozers are also used for military purposes. They are very robust in nature and can perform commendable job in clearing roads. They are use in military areas to tow tanks and burnt vehicles from very rough terrain.

They are the most popular equipment from the engineering vehicles. They are so poplar that most children also equate bulldozers as vehicles which are used to pull down old sites.
